The inception of a Skilling programme under Alpha Community Foundation Africa is in line with its vision and mission to support orphans and widows in the community through programmes that foster and support efforts for social and economic inclusion of all individuals in the society.

FOOTBALL/SOCCER

Alpha soccer programe of excellence for boys and girls between 6-16 years. We offer excellent football skills training and skills beyond football like hygiene, mentorship, leadership and many more operate as weekend and holiday programs

The foundation gives a chance for both boys and Girls between the ages of U6, U10, U14 and U16. aims to achieve ALCOFA Goal, Ensure Health Lives and promote wellbeing at all ages.

We want our children to become future African role models in order for them to inspire, support and help others in their communities, who have not had the opportunity to join alpha community foundation Africa. In today’s digital age, computer skills have become essential for success in many areas of life, including education, work, and personal pursuits. computer skills can be broadly classified into basic and advanced

Alcofa foundation we offer Basic computer skills to our children because these are fundamental skills that are essential for anyone who wants to use a computer. These skills are required for tasks such as sending emails, using social media, browsing the internet, and completing basic office tasks.

Our goal is the children of Alcofa can benefit from the skills gained from the foundation by becoming creative because Computers are digital devices that can be used for creative pursuits such as graphic design, video editing, and music production. With computer skills, you can unleash your creativity and self-employment as you express yourself in new and exciting ways.

TAILORING FASHION AND DESIGN

AlCOFA We have so far seen extremely positive results from this program. Not only have our students been equipped with the skills they require to run their own businesses and support themselves financially, we have also seen immense personal growth, including heightened levels of confidence, empowerment and self-esteem. These are now going on to empower other members of their community, which is so amazing to see!

A main component of the course is encouraging our children to utilize their new Tailoring skills to be agents of change and development in their own communities and country. Rather than paying school fees to study at Alpha community foundation, our student are required to create a number of re-usable menstrual hygiene packs each month as their way to give back/contribute, which are distributed to vulnerable young women throughout rural Uganda. Our students are also able to make an ongoing income by creating additional packs while studying.
